Rooms at Art Inn Jaipur
There are 6 theme based rooms available. Its ideal for artists & writers traveling alone or with companions. We can house 6 such couples or individuals. However if traveling in a group, extra bed can be arranged in the rooms and upto 12-15 people can stay comfortably.
The Writers Paradise
Situated on the ground floor, the room has a bay window which overlooks the main garden and the white wrought iron furniture placed there for evening open air get-togethers in the garden. The entrance to the bathroom is beside the main door and houses a western commode, shower and an intricate mirror frame designed in wood.
The Artists Retreat
Wood is an integral part of the lives of people in Rajasthan. It was only natural that artisans have used this as a medium for their creative expression. Handcrafted wooden toys serve as bedside companions and a replica antique bed come together to ensure you live in a virtual art room. Situated on the ground floor, the room has 3 large windows with block printed curtains and opens on the eastern section of the garden which houses mango and Amla trees and a creeper jasmine bush. There is an attached bathroom with a western commodeand a shower.
The Blue Factory
Jaipur is the home of Blue Pottery and this room is our humble salute to this age old craft. The theme here is Blue Pottery and the prominent colours used are blue and white. The room houses different specimens of blue pottery The room comes with a dressing room with the same theme. Located on the first floor it opens to the artists studio. The lobby on its entrance is also a library.
Reflections in Wood
The room has a special textile art piece done by Yuken Teruya from Japan foundation, artist in residence-2012 for his textile project/show in India. Extraordinary splashes of colour create sparks of life in brilliant red, pink and green block printed furnishings. The colours and energy of these textiles create a breathtaking array and nurture creativity.
Banithani
The room is named after Bani Thani a famous painting in the Kishangarh school of paintings. Miniature paintings from Jaipur,Bundi and Kishangarh adorn the walls.Long stemmed lotus flowers with their soft colours and melting forms bring extra finesse,grace and beauty to the room. Sheers in local tie & dye bring in the elegance of transparent veil. Located on the first floor the room has a balcony overlooking the garden and a patio.
Purple Sunbird
This is a ideal place for the keen bird-watcher,looking for a peaceful experience away from the crowd and noise. On the first floor ,overlooking the garden and watching over the bird house on the Amla tree it has a beautiful view of the local birds in the Rajasthani garden below. Calm and peaceful in hues of green purple and yellow its Ideal for writers and painters alike.
